At Adult Enrichment Centers, we are steadfast in our mission of building innovative communities that foster the independence of individuals with all abilities.
This commitment is rooted in our longstanding belief that everyone deserves to lead a full life, all of their life. We are proud of our nearly 40 years of service to our community, and our work engaging four distinct populations through dynamic programming at our three adult day centers in York County:

High5 School of the Arts will be a fully inclusive creative space for exploring music, art, dance, the culinary arts and healthy living. AEC members will be enriched, inspired and engaged during program hours, and community members will enjoy the facility on evenings and weekends. Located at our renovated Rock Hill campus, High5 School of the Arts will benefit all.
Inclusive. Engaging. Fun.
High5 is for adults of all ages, but primarily members are young adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and special needs. The vibe is energized as friends develop life skills through experiential learning. Programming is available in half-day or full-day options, Monday through Friday. Transportation is provided; med techs are on site daily.
Community. Dignity. Purpose.
Thrive adult day care is designed for adults who need medical monitoring but who are not ready for residential nursing care. Programming is available Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm and, as capacity allows, member families choose how many and which days to attend. Meals and transportation are provided; a registered nurse is on site daily.
Safe. Serene. Empowering.
Renew is a fully inclusive program where members and staff work together as friends to have purpose-filled days filled with activities of the members choosing. Programming is grounded in self-directed, curiosity-led, Montessori-style learning, and is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Member families choose when to attend and for how long. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Works facilitates individualized, competitive wage employment based on member interests and skills, as well as one-on-one training, and career development for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ongoing guidance and coaching is provided to members, as well as to their caregivers and participating employers.
